Yes, you need to be a current middle or high school student, a middle or high school equivalent student, OR a recent high school graduate from the Class of 2024 when you attend the 2024 Out Youth Teen Prom.

Will there be a photo booth?

Yes, we'll have a FREE photo booth again this year! All photos will be uploaded to a password-protected website so that youth not yet out to their friends and families can feel safe participating.

What should I wear?

We suggest you wear something comfortable that makes you feel good about yourself. You don't have to wear an outfit that matches the event's theme.

Will there be food and non-alcoholic drinks at Prom?

We will have some light snacks and water. Because we're not serving a meal, we recommend eating beforehand.

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

Only youth ages 13 to 19 will be allowed to enter the event.

What can't I bring to the event?

Drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, vapes, and weapons are not allowed at the 2024 Out Youth Teen Prom.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, but it will make checking in easier. We can also scan your registration bar code from your phone.

What kind of adult supervision will be at the Prom?

Out Youth staff members will supervise the Prom along with board members, interns, and over 15 volunteer chaperones. If you have any questions about supervision, please contact our Programs Staff at programs@outyouth.org.
